Teeth Whitening (Zoom)

What is Teeth Whitening?

Teeth whitening removes stains and severe discoloration from your smile. Due to certain foods and drinks as well as lifestyle habits, you may find that your teeth are yellowed and dull. This can easily be remedied with professional Zoom whitening that is done in-office. In roughly one hour, you’ll experience brighter, whiter and shinier teeth that you wouldn’t be able to achieve with at-home products.

Why is Teeth Whitening needed?

When your teeth are yellowed and dull, you might not feel good about the way that you look. Many people who are unhappy with their teeth avoid laughing, talking or smiling at others. You may have a special event coming up that you want to look your best for, especially if it’s a wedding or class reunion. Zoom whitening can deliver the results that you both want and need without waiting weeks to notice a difference.

What makes you a good candidate for Teeth Whitening?

Zoom normally only has an impact on natural teeth. It may not whiten restorations like crowns, bridge work and veneers. However, with the help of Zoom whitening, you can experience quick and highly effective whitening that can be done in-office. Most people who want to whiten their teeth can and will have the procedure done safely and with minimal sensitivity.

What can be expected with professional Teeth Whitening?

You will begin the whitening process by coming in for an exam and consultation. We will examine your teeth to determine if you will benefit from Zoom whitening. Next, you will be seated comfortably with gauze and cotton rolls helps to keep your lips away from your teeth. A whitening gel is applied to your teeth and a bright light put into place. After about a half hour, the old gel is removed and new gel is applied. The light is again positioned over the teeth to help accelerate the whitening process. After the whitening is done, you’ll be given instruction on how to maintain your results.

"Every day I look forward to seeing a patient that has been reluctant to come to the dentist. It is very rewarding to be able to give that person the smile they deserve. I do this in hopes that they will share that smile with others."
