Facial Rejuvenation Treatments

Facial Rejuvenation Treatments

Many questions arise when you hear about facial rejuvenation. For example: Does it always require surgery? Could I improve without surgery? What treatments are available? Which would be the best and most appropriate for me?

We will answer all your questions about surgical and non-surgical facial rejuvenation treatments in the following article. But the most important thing is that if we are happy with ourselves, it is one of the keys to both internal and external well-being.

Blepharoplasty is surgery that treats excess skin of the eyelids and eye bags (dark circles).

This surgery is performed in an operating room with local anesthesia or local anesthesia plus sedation, depending on each patient. The intervention usually lasts approximately 1h 30 min.

It also manages to rejuvenate the look and functionally improves vision, since excess skin can cause you to lose visibility.

There are two types of blepharoplasty:

Lower blepharoplasty

Lower blepharoplasty is an operation performed on the lower eyelids to remove an excess part of the skin and may also include an operation on the eye bags.

The objective is to give the eyes and eyes a more youthful appearance, eliminating the laxity of the lower eyelid as well as the swelling that contribute to offering a global vision of tired and aged appearance.

Upper blepharoplasty

Upper blepharoplasty is an operation that is performed on the upper eyelids.

The objective of this intervention is to eliminate the excess skin and fat of the upper eyelids, which have deteriorated as a result of aging.

The patient who performs an upper blepharoplasty looks more rejuvenated and rested, since, after the intervention the appearance is much clearer.

Face lift

The facelift treats the signs of age. The passing of the years produces a progressive aging in people that is more noticeable in the face.

An option to recover the youthful spirit of facial features includes cosmetic and beauty or aesthetic treatments. However, when they reach a certain age, these treatments can do little or no good and need more aggressive action to rejuvenate the face.

The face lift treatment, or simply facelift, is one of the most commonly used surgeries to combat wrinkles and aging marks on the face.

Although new techniques for rejuvenation and aesthetic beauty have been developed, the facelift continues to lead the most popular cosmetic surgeries.

There are basically three types of lifting:

Front lift

The front lift treats wrinkles and raises the eyebrows.

Face lift

The face lift stretches all the muscles of the face below the skin. It also stretches the fat ball located in the center of the cheek by repositioning it and improving the nasogenian groove.

Neck lift

The neck lift treats the sagging neck skin and often the jowls, the cervical bands that originate the muscles and the fat.
